PROBLEM SOLVING MAPS
Project Title
Problem Solving Maps Branding
Concept
The logo creation for Problem Solving Maps was the first step in developing an identity for this newly started, math textbook. Problem Solving Maps combines common graphical elements, students learn about, with the content and processes for solving problems. There are three tracks to this problem-solving method (inductive thinking, deductive thinking, and analysis). The logo was inspired from these three tracks — displaying three, abstract representations of people. Additionally, the unity among the figures, showcases teamwork and collaboration. As a core market of the math book appeals to grade school children, a primary color scheme was established, before sophisticated palettes were derived from this color scheme.
